A classification of membership comprised of entities concerned with technology research and/or science studies  related affliation to the tobacco industry.

A classification of membership comprised of not-for-profit organizations and groups with a purpose consistent with the WTEA mission.

• Complimentary individual membership:
• Assistance by WTEA staff to exhibit, educate and meet at the WTEA International Meeting.
• Availability of for-fee support services through the WTEA international office.
• Rental of WTEA mailing list.
• One complimentary WTEA International Meeting registration.
• Web site link listed on the Affiliate Organization page of the World Tobacco America site.

Global Partner Membership
International individual membership associations with a purpose consistent with WTEA mission.

• Includes all benefits of Affiliate membership plus

• Members of the Global Partners association can register for WTEA conferences at the WTEA member rate.

Life Membership
Life membership is available to WTEA members who have either a) reached the age of 65 and have been a continuous WTEA member in good standing for 20 years, or b) completed a term as president of WTEA.
The level of membership granted (Gold, Silver, Bronze) is determined by the membership level maintained during the majority of the five-year period immediately preceding the request for life membership. All rights and privileges will be confered with life membership. (See Individual Membership for the benefits for each level.
